Being a fan of Bay Area rap I was excited to hear that Jacka and Laroo were releasing a collabo album. They sounded dope together on that 20 Bricks joint from a few years back. When I popped in the CD I didn't expect the first song, Never Be The Same, was gonna be my new anthem. I swear I've had that joint on a repeat for weeks. I also love Blood Shot Eyes, it has one of those classic Jacka hooks on it. Bring Da '80s Back featuring Lee Majors and Shad Gee is another banger that was on heavy rotation. And that 20 Bricks beat was so damn fresh, they had to bring it back and spit new verses on it for the remix version. Damn, they killed that shit all over again and I still ain't tired of the beat. As if the CD isn't enough, they throw in a bonus DVD. It features a bunch of their videos but it plays almost like a mini movie. I'm impressed with the overall quality of this CD/DVD combo package. This the type of album that you buy one for the whip and one for the crib!
