We've all seen the infamous movie that inspired a entire generation of drug dealing rappers and wannabe gangsters. Scarface is more immortal than Jesus to some of these kids! So, now after all these years we get to find out the rest of the story. Ever wonder how Tony got to be such a ruthless bastard or how he actually got to Miami? Well, IDW Publishing has delivered the Scarface: Devil In Disguise trade paperback. It's the prequel to the movie but in graphic novel format. The story brings us back to Cuba in the '60s and '70s, where we find out about all the circumstances that led Tony into becoming the murderous drug dealer that we all know and love. Man, the plot is thick and laced with all the right ingredients. Love, lust, murder, greed and a whole shitload of politics. I've gotta take my hat off to both Joshua Jabcuga and Alberto Dose, they did the original movie more than justice, they added to the legacy of an icon and they did it brilliantly. "You wanna fuck with Tony Montana, you fuckin' with the best!"
