MTV confirmed earlier today that Beyonce will indeed be performing her latest single 'Sweet Dreams' at the VMAs this year.  This will mark the third time that Sasha Fierce has performed for the show, and having been nominated for a total of nine VMAs this year, its only right.

As if that isn't enough exciting news, DC rapper Wale, along with legendary Go-Go band, UCB, will serve as the official house band for the night.
