Thick: Give us a little background info.
Serius Jones: I'm from Inglewood, New Jersey. It's a small town like five minutes outside New York City. I spent a lil' time in Harlem, I spent some time down south, Atlanta, Florida. My whole movement is 'Life is Serius'. My music is basically a testament to where I bin, the things I've seen, the way I feel, you know, how me and my peoples is livin'. My company is named LMG, which is Life Music Group. Basically, I just do what comes from my heart, and I hope anyone can appreciate and recognize the real. That's what it is.

T: You bin making quite a name on the battle circuit. Talk about that.
SJ: I'm the Fight Klub king, I almost forgot that.

T: You beat Jin to get the crown. What kind of lines do you think killed him?
SJ: Man, you gon' have to tune in for that one. I don't even remember. I be just comin' up with shit and...I said he cooked DMX dog, that was kinda funny. Not trying to downplay it, but that (battle) was a small thing. It was really about that money. If you tell me I can get $10,000, $20,000 for saying something to somebody, I'ma come up with something crazy shit to say to they ass. So, that's what that whole Jin battle was about. The battles was cool but that's just mostly for the money, the exposure, and I just happen to be witty and good with my mouth, no homo of course.
